Accessing CMMS Mobile for Maintenance and SpindleLIVE

CMMS Mobile operates online and offline on SpindleLIVE Mobile, maintaining functionality similar to your Spindle Login and connecting to the Spindle Subnet.

Setup Guides, if needed:

Connectivity Note:

A local Wi-Fi connection to the Spindle Server is required for CMMS Mobile interaction.

Spindle Subnet users need to be aware it does not allow external internet access.

View Maintenance Information Only

  • SpindleLIVE Users: If you only wish to view maintenance data, your access is automatically set up—no further actions are needed.

Interact with CMMS Mobile

  • SpindleLIVE Users: Interaction with CMMS Mobile is generally not necessary. If needed:
    • Associate your Spindle Login ID: Ensure your Spindle Login ID (RFID) is linked to your SpindleLIVE profile. For more details, refer to the Find a Spindle Login (RFID) article.
    • Connect to Corporate Wi-Fi: To interact with the mobile app, you must be connected to Corporate Wi-Fi.

Maintenance Employees or Non-SpindleLIVE Users

  • Maintenance Engineers and Other Staff: If you do not have a SpindleLIVE account, you will primarily use CMMS Mobile for detailed interactions and task management.
    • CMMS Mobile Features: Utilize all interactive and operational features of CMMS Mobile to manage and execute maintenance tasks effectively.

Local Login Details

  • Intended Users: Primarily for maintenance personnel without a SpindleLIVE account. 
  • Connection Requirement: Must connect to the Spindle Subnet Wi-Fi access points located throughout the facility.
  • Functionality: Operates similarly to your Spindle Login. Does not provide external internet access.
  • Device Compatibility: It is compatible with Spindle-provided maintenance tablets and non-Spindle devices.
  • Innovation Note: Functions without internet access, showcasing its unique capability.
  • Communication Handling: Your on-premise Spindle Server manages all communications with www.SpindleLIVE.com.

SpindleLIVE Login

Spindle US & Spindle EU Customers:

First, be sure you have selected the appropriate SpindleLIVE login. Then, use your SpindleLIVE username and password as you would on www.SpindleLIVE.com. For interaction with CMMS Mobile, you'll need to connect to your Corporate Wi-Fi and perform a SpindleLIVE profile update for CMMS Mobile features to be present.
