Maintenance Details - Overview

The Maintenance Details provides Users an overview of all scheduled maintenance tasks over a specific date range. From this page, there are 3 available views, which include Preventive Maintenance, Work Orders and Work Order Requests. The Date Picker in the upper right portion of the page allows for customization of specific date ranges from which to view the task details. There are also multiple filtering options available to aide Users in customizing their view to only see specific tasks relevant to the desired output. Once the desired view has been set, this page can also be printed by clicking on the Print button in the upper right portion of the page. A more detailed overview of each individual section will be provided below.
View Options
There are 3 View Options from this Maintenance Details page – Preventive Maintenance, Work Orders and Work Order Request.

Preventive Maintenance View
The Preventive Maintenance View is shown below.
There also additional column headers not shown in the defaulted view that can be selected through the Display Columns filter, shown below.
Preventive Maintenance Details
The Preventive Maintenance View provides a detailed overview of each of the scheduled maintenance tasks for the selected date range. Below are brief descriptions of each of the Column Headers.
- SL Equipment – Equipment description as configured in Spindle
- Asset Make/Model – Customer Asset description (Make/Model)
- PM Name – Customer Preventive Maintenance task description
- Status – Task status (i.e. Cancelled, Completed, In Progress, Missed, Overdue, Scheduled, Suspended)
- Assigned to – Name of the Maintenance Worker(s) the task has been assigned to
- Target Date – The Trget date is a date that carries forward for when a PM is scheduled based on periodicity. E. If a Monthly is Targeted to be done every 2nd tuesday of the month that is when it wil show up being due every month going forward. As long as it is completed _7 to +14 days of that date it will be considered good.
- Scheduled Date – The scheduled date is the planned date for work.
- Four Square Icon – This icon allows Users to View PM Step Instructions, View PM Details and Print – see below.
- WO # - the # associated with the Work Order or PM
- Maint Type – Preventive Maintenance or Work Order
- Maint Reason – Regular PM or Work Order
- Frequency – the frequency in which the PM is scheduled to be performed. Examples of PM frequencies are as follows – Daily, Weekly, Bi-Weekly, Monthly, Twice-Monthly, Quarterly, Semi-Annually, Annually.
- Est Labor Hours – the estimated amount of time (HH:MM) in which the PM or Work Order is expected to take
- Last Completed PM – displays the date in which the PM or Work Order was completed
- Next Due PM – displays the date in which the next PM or Work Order is due
View Preventive Maintenance
From the Four Square shown in the above illustration, by selecting View Work Order, Users will see the below individual task Details and Step Instructions.
To Print or View PM Details, click the 3-dot icon and select the appropriate option.
View PM Details
The PM Details section provides both historical and future scheduled date details under the Work Orders tab.
The Schedule Details allows for modification of current schedule, by making the appropriate adjustment and selecting Save.
Print Preventive Maintenance Task
The Print Work Order option allows for printing of individual Preventive Maintenance task Details and Step Instructions.
Adding/Removing Display Columns
The above Column Headers are the defaulted view, however Users have the option to add/remove Display Columns using the Display Columns filter, shown below.
Work Orders View
The Preventive Maintenance View is shown below.
Work Orders Details
The Work Orders View provides a detailed overview of each open Work Order for the selected date range. Below are brief descriptions of each of the Column Headers.
- SL Equipment – Equipment description as configured in Spindle
- Asset Make/Model – Customer Asset description (Make/Model)
- Work Order Title – Customer Work Order task description
- Priority – Priority set for the Work Order (i.e. Low, Medium, High, Regulatory, Safety)
- Status – Task status (i.e. Cancelled, Completed, In Progress, Missed, Overdue, Scheduled, Suspended)
- Scheduled Date – The scheduled date for completion
- Est Labor Hours – The estimated amount of labor hours necessary to complete the Work Order
- Est Parts Cost – The estimated cost of parts to complete the Work Order
- Completion Date Requested – The date requested for completion when the Work Order was created
- Request Entered By – Name of the Maintenance Worker or Production Leader that created/entered the Work Order

Creating a Work Order
To create a Work Order, select the Create Work Order icon, as shown below. Next fill in the appropriate fields and select Save. For more details on how to complete this task, click here.
Work Order Requests View
The Work Order Requests View is shown below. This is where you need to go to Aprrove or Deny Work Order requests. This is the key to this page. You should explain how to Aprrove and what fields are required to be filled in and what data should be in each field.
Work Order Requests Details
The Work Order Requests View provides a detailed overview of each Requested Work Order. Below are brief descriptions of each of the Column Headers.
- Request Title – The title designated to the Work Order when it was created
- Status – Status of the Requested Work Order
- Priority – Priority placed on the Work Order when it was created (if applicable)
- Description – Task details description of the Work Order Request
- Date Entered – Date the Work Order Request was entered
- Entered by – Name of Maintenance Worker or Production Leader that entered the Work Order Request
- Completion Date Requested – Requested date for completion of the Work Order
- Location – Plant location of the Work Order (if applicable)
- Edit / Approve / Deny – This section is where Maintenance Leadership will make one of the following determinations on the Requested Work Order. Edit, Approve or Deny – see below.
