Best Practice - Coaching Moments – Employee Page Popup
FollowPurpose: To establish a Best Practice for creating and managing Coaching Moments, specifically from the Employee Popup in SpindleLIVE. This best practice ensures consistent documentation and effective communication. It applies to all Management team members responsible for providing performance feedback through Coaching Moments.
Definitions:
↬ Coaching Moment: A documented feedback note highlighting achievements, areas of improvement, or other performance-related aspects.
↬ Employee Popup: A pop-up window showing an Employee's information when clicking their name in SpindleLIVE.
Responsibilities:
↬ Management Team Members: Responsible for entering, editing, and managing Coaching Moments.
↬ HR Department: To monitor the overall Coaching Moment process for compliance and consistency.
Best Practices
↬ Be Specific: Provide clear, concise, and relevant feedback.
↬ Balanced Feedback: Ensure feedback includes both positive recognition and areas of improvement.
↬ Document Timely: Enter Coaching Moments immediately after identifying notable achievements or areas needing improvement.
↬ Confidentiality: Treat all Coaching Moments with confidentiality and professionalism.

Coaching Moments—Employee Page & Employee Popup
Navigation to the Employee Page
SpindleLIVE Website
① Use the dropdowns at the top left to select the appropriate Facility and Employee.
② Click on any blue hyperlinked employee name to access the Employee Page.
③ Scroll down to the Coaching Moments section.
SpindleLIVE Mobile App
① Go to the Workforce tab at the bottom of the screen.
② Select Team Status and choose the employee.
③ Scroll down to the Coaching Moments section.

①Workforce Analysis: Find and click on any blue hyperlinked employee name.
②Workforce Facility Health: Find and click on any blue hyperlinked employee name.
③Workforce Team Status: Find and click on any blue hyperlinked employee name.
SpindleLIVE Mobile App
①Home Page: Tap on any department under Department Opportunity.
②Recommended Actions: Expand Recommended Actions and tap on any employee.
③Team Status: Select Workforce at the bottom of the screen, Team Status, and then choose an employee.
Coaching Moments Features
★ Group Coaching Moments: Simply access the Employees* drop-down list for selection.
★ + Add Comment (+ Add Entry on Mobile): Opens a dialog to create a new Coaching Moment.
★ Print Comments (Website Only): Prints all Coaching Moments visible in the current view.
<>★ Edit Button (Website Only): Allows editing individual Coaching Moments.
★ Delete Button (Website Only): Deletes individual Coaching Moments.
