What is Excessive Productivity?
FollowExcessive Productivity = # Employees with Excessive Productivity in any Classification today / Total # Employees that worked in a Standard task today
Note: The Total Number of Employees will only include employees who have logged time in a Standard Task. Employees with only Non-Standard time are excluded from this calculation.
- This category does not earn points.
- Plants can lose up to 10 points in this section.
Note: Your organization decides the threshold for Excessive Productivity (e.g., 120%, 130%, 140%, etc.).
What It Measures
This component evaluates employees who exceed X% (high) efficiency in any classification today, as high efficiency is typically a red flag that needs to be addressed. The higher the percentage of employees exceeding X% efficiency in a classification, the more points the plant will lose in this section of the Facility Health Score, up to a maximum of 10 points deducted.
New Recommended Action for Increased Visibility
Previously, the only Recommended Action highlighted employees exceeding X% (high) efficiency for the day. Moving forward:
- A new Recommended Action will display the number of employees with classification efficiency above X% (high) today. (Screenshot below of how this will look)
- This Recommended Action will also include active alerts (red number and exclamation marks) when an employee is currently logged into a classification and working above 140%.
These updates ensure plants have clearer, real-time visibility into employees exceeding expected efficiency levels, allowing for quicker identification and resolution of potential issues.
