Best Practice - Spindle Equipment Maintenance
FollowBelow is a list of maintenance tasks your Spindle Support Team recommends should be performed on an ongoing basis and end-of-year. This will help your facility extend the life and longevity of your Spindle hardware.
- Production Displays Blowdown - Take care to blow linen dust out of monitors after they've been shut down. Using dry compressed air will ensure the vents in the displays are cleaned out which allows the displays to have proper ventilation
- Login Stations / Login Tablets Blowdown - You can use a can of compressed air to blow out any ports where linen dust can build up. Take caution to utilize the compressed air as directed.
- Login Stations / Login Tablets Screen Cleaning - Spindle recommends you utilize a dry terry cloth to clean the screen on an ongoing basis, or you can use Windex or a comparable solution with a MicroFiber towel for screen cleaning and sanitation.
Always ensure, after you clean your Spindle Devices, that all cables are properly secured to the corresponding ports.
