Equipment Status Page - Page Overview
FollowOverview
The Equipment Status Page provides a live, up-to-date status of equipment, with production rates, maintenance downtime and classification change indication. The view can be changed to view previous day’s data.
Navigation and Date Picker
To view individual lanes within a piece of equipment, click the + symbol expansion option. This will report each individual lane’s data, as well as display the Production Worker’s name, if someone is currently logged into the respective lane.
By clicking the drop-down arrow next to the Date Picker, users can customize the specific date they prefer to view. The view is defaulted to display live data for the past 12 hours, back to midnight. If you change from live to historical data, you will need to select the “Include – Inactive” filter, as shown below.
Filters
There are multiple filters in the top portion of this page, allowing for quick access to specific data – shown below.

The numbers at the top of the portlet represent the time (hour) – shown below.

KPIs
This is a live OEE status of the Equipment for the time-period selected.
Below are descriptions of what each color represents.
- OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness) – identifies the percentage of manufacturing time that is truly productive by measuring Availability, Performance and Quality. However, in Spindle, we focus on the Availability and Performance only, and it is calculated using Availability X Performance.
- AV (Availability) – the amount of Productive Time compared against the amount of scheduled time. Calculated as Productive Time / Scheduled Time.
- PR (Performance) – the overall weighted employee efficiency.
