🚨 Troubleshooting App Issues: Quick Fixes to Get You Back on Track
FollowAt Spindle, we know how important it is for your team to stay productive. If you're experiencing issues with the Spindle app, don’t worry—most problems can be resolved quickly with a few easy steps. Follow the checklist below to troubleshoot and resolve common app problems.
✅ Step 1: Check Your Internet Connection
A strong internet connection is critical for the app to work properly.
Make sure you're connected to Wi-Fi or cellular data
Try opening a website to confirm your internet is active
If needed, switch networks or reset your Wi-Fi router
Note: App performance may lag or stall entirely if your connection is spotty or weak, especially in large facilities.
🆕 Step 2: Check for App and Device Updates
Outdated versions of the app or phone software can cause unexpected behavior.
Go to the App Store (iOS) or Google Play Store (Android)
→ Search for Spindle and tap Update if available-
Then check your device's software version
iOS under Settings → General → Software Update
→ Install updates if promptedAndroid Settings ▸ Software update ▸ Download and install (menu names vary).
Keeping both your app and device updated ensures smooth performance and better security.
🔄 Step 3: Log Out and Log Back In
Refreshing your session can resolve some issues.
Open the menu in the top left corner of the app
Tap Log Out
Close the app fully, then reopen and log back in

If you’re using an Android device:
Go to Settings > Apps > Spindle
Tap Storage
Select Clear Cache
(Avoid clearing "Data" unless instructed by support)

Uninstall the Spindle app from your device
