Analyzing the Spindle Displays in your plant
Follow
As a “best practice” Supervisors should use the real-time feedback provided via the Spindle Displays to manage production efficiencies throughout the plant. Spindle aggregates new data every 60 seconds, thus the Spindle Displays will update as this new data is collected. Below are the different views available to be shown on the Spindle Displays.
NOTE: Some of the below views may not be shown in your facility. If you see a view that you like to have displayed in your facility, please contact Spindle Support at support@spindlelive.com and/or your Customer Success Manager.

Need Login Alert on Spindle Displays
The “Need Login” alert will display when Spindle is collecting NA Counts. NA Counts are counts that are being collected by Spindle, but not applied to an employee because no one is logged into the Equipment / Lane where those counts are being collected.
- The Spindle Display shown below is alerting “Need Login” because there are NA counts being collected on Lane 6. This is due to an employee feeding, but not being logged into Spindle appropriately.
Excessive Time in Status Alert
The Excessive Time in Status alert shown on the Spindle Displays will alert when an employee is in a Break, Lunch, Meeting, or Other Area status in excess of what they’re allotted.
