Power Outage
FollowIf you have experienced a power outage and now having issues with Spindle, Please follow the steps below.
If the screens and login stations are displaying an error, then most likely the Spindle Sever is currently offline or powered off. In your server room please locate the Dell server and power it back on. It is possible the battery backup is in a faulted state, Please reset the battery backup and then power on the server, Once powered on Spindle services should return to normal operation.
If the screens are working and employees can log in but the counts are at 0%, This indicates there is an issue at the main Spindle Panel/PLC. Please check to make sure the Spindle Panel/PLC has power, its possible the Panel/PLC has either become unplugged or the battery backup is in a faulted state. Also check fuse #4 in the Spindle Panel/PLC as this fuse supplies power to the main switch for the Spindle Network. A blown fuse will cause the switch to lose power. If any fuses have a red light, Please check and replace the blown fuse if necessary.
If after these steps are performed and it still doesn't work, Please send us a support ticket to support@spindlelive.com or enter in your request VIA the "Submit a Ticket" link with a Subject similar to System Down Power Outage, and in the description include the troubleshooting steps that were performed and we will get back to you as soon as possible.
