Editing Manual Time or Counts (RCTE)

Click the Spindle Admin icon on the desktop of your Spindle PC or desktop icon (if applicable) to open Spindle Admin.

Enter your username and password. As a reminder, you will need to have Administrative or Manager Privileges to make corrections in RCTE. If “Retrospective Time Count Editing” is not available in the list of options, you will need to contact your plant manager for further assistance.

Once logged into Spindle Admin, click on Retrospective Time/Count Editing System.

Find the employee that you need to edit by using the Search, Department, and/or User drop-down.
- Select the shift date that you need to make modifications to.
Modifying Time for Manual Tasks
- After finding the employee and date you want to modify, you will need to verify the classification an employee was logged into when you need to remove time. To do this, you will need to run an Employee Tracking Report and expand to see the classification with the amount of time you wish to remove.
- If a count was added to a manual task, you should be able to click on the arrow next to the equipment name and select edit next to the classification you wish to modify. If counts weren't entered for that classification or any, you can use the manual drop-downs to
- If adding time, modify the hours, minutes, and seconds accordingly for the selected task. For example, if adding 5 minutes to a task, the duration field should display 00:05:00. If removing time, the process will be almost identical to adding. However, a - (Negative) sign needs to be added to the field. Therefore, if removing 5 minutes from a task, the duration field should display -00:05:00
- Click "Save All" to save the changes.
Modifying Counts for Manual Tasks
After finding the employee and date you want to modify, click on the arrow next to the task that needs to have a count
- To add a count, enter the number of what should be added. For example, an employee wasn't logged into an ironer and processed 100 pieces. Enter 100 into the "Count" box.
- To remove a count, enter the number of what should be removed, including a - (negative) sign. For example, an employee went to break and forgot to log out of the ironer and an additional 100 pieces were processed. Enter -100 into the "Count" box.
- Click "Save All" to save the changes.
