How to change classifications on login stations or for operator lanes
FollowClassifications
To ensure accurate production tracking, it's essential your employees match their classification in Spindle Workforce with the product they are currently handling. This typically involves selecting the appropriate classification at the beginning of their shift and updating it as needed throughout the day when product changes occur.
Tip: Do you have Equipment Utilization? Interested in checking out when or how often classification changes occur? Check out this article: Equipment Status Page - Page Overview. Or head over to the Equipment Status Page and look for blue indicator lines.
Accessing Equipment to Change Classification
If you're starting from the main login screen, navigate to the area containing the equipment you need to access.
If you're already assigned to a specific piece of equipment and lane, you can change the classification directly from that screen. Log in! Once you're on the equipment screen, tap the appropriate classification.
Assigning All Lanes with the Same Classification
Each lane can handle different products simultaneously. Tap the classification button that matches the product you're currently handling. To streamline the process for teams working on the same equipment, Spindle offers a convenient way to assign the same classification to all lanes at once. Tap Set for All Lanes This button will apply the selected classification to all lanes on the equipment.
Note: It can take up to 1-2 minutes for your Spindle Production Display to reflect the changes made to classifications.
