Adding equipment to Spindle?
FollowPlease review the information below, these are key pieces needed to add a new equipment to Spindle. This covers Automated, Manual, & Non-Standard Equipment in Spindle.
- What type of equipment are you requesting to have configured with Spindle?
- Automated (You'll be receiving a production count automatically)
- Manual (You'll be receiving a production count by entering in a piece count manually)
- Non-Standard (You'll only be tracking production time)
- If Automated Equipment, what is the Manufacturer Name, Model Number, and Type of Equipment?
- Has wiring been completed to the Spindle PLC (if applicable)?
- Has wiring been completed to the IoT Production Device (if applicable)
- What should we name the equipment in Spindle? (provide the Corporate Standard name if applicable)
- What area number/name should this equipment be placed for login?
- How many login lanes should be available for this automated equipment?
- What are the classification(s) that need to be assigned to this piece of equipment?
- If Manual Equipment?
- What should we name the equipment in Spindle? (provide the Corporate Standard name if applicable)
- How many login lanes should the manual equipment have?
- What area number/name should this equipment be placed for login?
- What are the classification(s) that need to be assigned to this piece of equipment?
- Should employees be able to enter production counts or supervisors only?
- If Non-Standard?
- What should we name the equipment in Spindle? (provide the Corporate Standard name if applicable)
- How many login lanes should the manual equipment have?
- What are the classification that need to be assigned to this piece of equipment?
- What area number/name should this equipment be placed for login?
